When we capture video for you too our aim is the same but our Videographers usually take a bit of a backseat and capture things as they happen without much interaction unless it's called for during group photos/couple portraits. How do you photograph weddings?
We love knowing everything about your wedding day and we will always be on call to chat to you about your day. Together we will figure out the best moments for the couple photos, group photos & anything else you want us to capture. On your wedding day, we want to capture all the feelings, the mood, the emotions, the calm and crazy moments, and all the details that make your wedding so unique. That's why we've decided to focus on photographing in a non-traditional and laid-back wedding style, you could call it documentary style. We do however if given the opportunity love to create spectacular images for couples and love working with colour and light so if that is something you're interested in be sure to speak to us about this.
Where are you based and do you travel?
We are based in the North of England in Yorkshire, UK and yes we love to travel! If you want us to capture your story, Travel will be included in your package cost. We would love to capture more abroad weddings too and cost of travel for these can also be discussed as we are also available for destinations weddings.
When will we get our photos?
As with all our couples, we aim to give you a few highlights photos on your wedding day so you can share them on your social media accounts to announce your marriage, better a high-quality image from your photographer than a phone image from a friend I always say. You will also get some form of photo keepsake to take home with you on your wedding day. You will then receive a link to your online gallery with all your photos within 2-3 months (however, timings can vary depending on the time of year and how busy we are, so we always thank you for your patience during this time). You can download all the photos from the gallery but also share them with friends & family, choose your favourites, and also order prints, photo-books & canvases. Do not hesitate to contact me if you have any issues or queries during this time.
How many pictures will we receive?
For most wedding days we are usually with you for around 8-10 hours of coverage, & normally you will receive at least 600 fully edited images but every wedding day is different and this can vary. I always choose quality rather than quantity and don't tend to provide many duplicate images but at the same time, every wedding day is different and some have a lot more activities going on than others which can affect the amounts of photographs taken.
