Hi there, by booking us you are hiring an individual or team that aims to capture real moments for real people. My aim as a photographer is to help your day be as relaxed & fun as possible, I love to capture all those important moments & all the fun bits in between too. I firmly believe laughter is the key to happiness in life so I make it my mission to capture & create as many happy moments by getting my couples laughing & smiling together naturally. How do you photograph weddings?
We love knowing everything about your wedding day and we will always be on call to chat to you about your day. Together we will figure out the best moments for the couple photos, group photos & anything else you want us to capture. On your wedding day, we want to capture all the feelings, the mood, the emotions, the calm and crazy moments, and all the details that make your wedding so unique. That's why we've decided to focus on photographing in a non-traditional and laid-back wedding style, you could call it documentary style. We do however if given the opportunity love to create spectacular images for couples and love working with colour and light so if that is something you're interested in be sure to speak to us about this.
Where are you based and do you travel?
We are based in the North of England in Yorkshire, UK and yes we love to travel! If you want us to capture your story, it may require a travel fee, depending on where it takes place but that's no worries, we have drivers in our team so we can get to anywhere that is required. Even abroad as we are also available for destinations weddings.
When will we get our photos?
As with all our couples, we aim to give you a few highlights photos on your wedding day so you can share them on your social media accounts to announce your marriage, better a high-quality image from your photographer than a phone image from a friend I always say. You will also get some Polaroid prints of these images too to take home with you on your wedding day. You will then receive a link to your online gallery with all your photos within 4-8 weeks (however timings can vary depending on the time of year and how busy we are so we always thank you for your patience during this time). You can download all the photos from the gallery but also share them with friends & family, choose your favourites, and also order prints, photo-books & canvases. Do not hesitate to contact me if you have any issues or queries during this time.
How many pictures will we receive?
For most wedding days we are usually with you for around 8-10 hours of coverage, & normally you will receive at least 600 fully edited images but every wedding day is different and this can vary. I always choose quality rather than quantity and don't tend to provide many duplicate images but at the same time, every wedding day is different and some have a lot more activities going on than others which can affect the amounts of photographs taken.
Wedding Video
Not only do we offer photography but wonderful wedding videos too, there's nothing better than having one of our highlights videos to rewatch over & over again. We also have a great offer on both photo & video coverage of your big day so be sure to enquire about that as you can book both with us & not have to worry about having to rely on two separate companies.
We just love capturing weddings. They are such special days and it's so refreshing and heartwarming to work on as everyone is so happy and excited. Capturing people's natural reactions and trying to avoid shooting things that look staged is how we operate - No one wants to have a camera in their face all day when you're surrounded by your best friends and family. But we will capture some romantic shots of you both looking stunning to make your mums cry but keep our focus on candid, fun shots of you and your guests having a great time that will make you smile every time you look back on them. Your wedding day is something that you will remember and look back on for the rest of your life so getting it filmed is an important souvenir.
